We do our best to ship out all items within 24 - 48 hours of your order. *Please note - holiday shipping schedules may be impacted by 1-2 extra days due to high volume*.
You will receive an email notification with your shipping details and tracking number once your order is shipped. Orders are processed Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET.
No. Please note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes. If you have one listed on your order for shipment, this will delay delivery until we can contact you to update your address.
Order Cancellations / Changes
In an effort to ship orders within a 24 - 48 hour period, we are unable to guarantee changes or cancellations due to the speed of the fulfillment process.
You may contact us directly at info@schmidtbrothers.com immediately after your order placement, and we will make every effort to correct or cancel your order if possible. Please note if we are unable to change or cancel the order prior to shipment processing, you will need to return your order for a refund upon receipt.
Return Policy

We want you to be completely pleased with your purchase.
If you are not satisfied with your order, Schmidt Brothers will accept merchandise within 90 days of your order receipt.
Please contact us at info@schmidtbrothers.com to initiate the return process. Once we receive your return package, you will be sent an email notifying you that your return is being processed.
Please pack returns in the original outer box or another sturdy shipping box, including your order # or packing slip.
Items should be packed appropriately to ensure the product arrives to our office in good condition and to protect all points and edges from cutting through the shipping carton. We want you to be safe, as well as all delivery personnel. PS, it's also required to comply with US regulation when sending sharp objects through courier services.
We are not responsible for returns that do not have tracking/delivery confirmation (POD) showing that the package was actually received by our office.

Knife Sharpening
The more you use your knives, the more frequently you’ll have to sharpen them. Guess you didn’t need us to tell you that.
To maintain a sharp edge (the sharper the knife, the safer the knife), you should hone your knives once a week and do a full, at-home sharpening once a month.
There are a number of great products on the market that the everyday chef can use. Once you do it once or twice, it gets less scary - we promise.
